The purpose of this conference is to explore measures to ensure sufficient transparency into and cost effectiveness of local and regional transmission planning decisions, including:

(1) the role of cost management measures in ensuring the cost-effective identification of local transmission needs (e.g., planning criteria) and solutions to address identified local transmission and regional reliability-related transmission needs;

(2) cost considerations and the processes through which transmission developers recover their costs to ensure just and reasonable transmission rates. Additionally, this conference will also discuss potential approaches to providing enhanced cost management measures and greater transparency and oversight if needed to ensure just and reasonable transmission rates.

Puerto Rico needs a reliable, clean, electric grid - not hugs and prayers. - 198 methods

Don’t get me wrong, President Joe Biden is doing a much better job at disaster recovery than the defeated fossil fueled fascist Trump.

But Congress, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission & the White House have all been promising Puerto Ricans clean, reliable electricity since 2017, when Hurricane Maria devastated the island. And more than two weeks after Hurricane Fiona knocked out power to 3 million people, power outages are still an everyday occasion .

Enough is enough, it's time to demand the Biden Administration address Puerto Rico’s power grid clean, green, reliable, and right now.

President Biden visited Puerto Rico this week and showed empathy. But what the island really needs is a clean, green, reliable electric grid.

No fáciles, sino simples.
