AN OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL TEENS
The UNH Tech Camp and UNH Technology Transfer Center have applied to host their 9th session of the US Department of Transportation’s National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) summer camp program. The proposed funding, if approved, would allow for twenty NH students entering grades 8, 9, and 10 to attend this year’s NH NSTI residential camp at the UNH Durham campus free of charge, for one week camps focused on either Bridges and Construction or RC Cars.
If you know of a student with a passion for how things are built/engineered or who has expressed an interest in transportation-related careers, I’d love to see them apply to be a part of the *2024 NH NSTI program. If you’re connected with your local high school or career and technical education center, please share this email with them so we can get the word out and introduce our future generation to the wonderful careers in design and support of our highways and all things related to transportation.

*Contingent upon and following final approval of donor funding, all completed applications will be reviewed and enrollment decisions will be made. I’m happy to assist any interested students or educators to connect with the fabulous staff at UNH Tech Camp (who are overseeing this year’s NSTI camp program and keep you posted on the application process), or to assist in navigating the application process.
