Huge THANK YOU to SIU Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) instructor Geoff Young and 18 students from15 countries across the world for their help in adding additional parking to our overflow lot at Chautaqua Bottoms earlier this week. We work with CESL regularly and so appreciate the program for bringing these amazing students (mostly Fulbright Scholar) into the community to work with nonprofits where they learn what community means here locally. CESL students are consistently a hard-working bunch and so fun to get to know.
Another BIG Thank You to Joe Lenzini for figuring this all out, from compiling our materials list to prepping the site for the workday. And our course, THANKS our own Ken Mayberry for prepping and working with the crew.
For those of you happy to hear about more parking, the lot can currently be used but will continue to improve as we add a top layer of gravel, finish a connecter trail, and add signs over the next month or two.

It's down-to-the-wire-time for buying tickets to Nature On Tap (May 02, 2-6pm). There are only handful left for the Hike-With-A-Flight tasting trail, but we still have plenty of tickets for entry to the Pop-Up Pub.
Come enjoy outdoor time with friends, live music by Carr and Tejada, concessions by Carbondeli's and some absolutely EXCELLENT beer from Scratch Brewing Company.
