Give two, get yum!

For the 17th consecutive year, we are partnering with 6 local Chick-Fil-A franchises to gather canned goods that will go towards feeding the unhoused population of Akron, Ohio!

Between 11 am to 7:00pm on Thursday, August 6th, bring in 2 cans of food to receive a free BREAKFAST sandwich!

Participating Locations are as follows:

On Fridays, the Men’s recovery program went through a series of workshops focused on vulnerability, accountability, and scripture.

Centered on biblical principles and self improvement, these classes are designed for the men to discuss overcoming their struggles, how to find peace & clarity to the challenges they face, and help them understand how they are made new in God’s love and refuge.

Here in the garden course, the volunteers who assist us are members of the Summit County Master Gardeners Association! The mission of this organization is to teach environmentally sound, research-based horticultural practices and promote gardening for the citizens of Summit County under the auspices of tOSU extension.

We are so grateful for this organization and the support they provide our men!

After a week full of good food, fancy crafts, great dancing, and learning about our loving God, we are sad to see our campers go, but glad we got to have so much fun with them!
