The best time to prepare for the next major project? Before the RFP ever arrives.

Since 2017, Mississippi has invested $180 million in site preparation, matched by local communities working to make their sites more competitive.

That work starts well before a company makes a location decision. Due diligence, infrastructure planning and site improvements help reduce unknowns and give companies greater certainty when timelines are tight.

Major investments like AWS show the scale of opportunity Mississippi is prepared to compete for.

Because Mississippi site development isn't about waiting for the next project. It's about being ready when it arrives.

Manufacturing is coming home. Mississippi is ready.

As companies rethink supply chains and bring production closer to U.S. customers, Mississippi is standing out.

Based on first-quarter 2025 data, Mississippi ranked No. 3 nationally for projected reshoring and foreign direct investment jobs, representing 12,084 projected jobs.

That position is backed by the fundamentals companies need to compete: prepared sites, skilled workers, strategic infrastructure and speed-to-market.

For companies considering reshoring manufacturing and U.S. manufacturing investment, Mississippi is ready for what comes next.
