The best part of Rotary isn’t just the good deeds, it’s the incredible people we get to meet across our neighboring cities!

Last week we had our annual 5-city picnic. Rotarians, business leaders, and community members enjoyed an evening full of great food, good company, and powerful connections.

Whatever you think about Rotary, it is probably wrong. The Rotary Club of Romulus is a group of neighbors, creators, and professionals, of all ages, who simply care about making our town a better place to live.

This week, we are highlighting 8 very different reasons why our members get involved, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to two simple things:
☀️ connecting with great people
☀️ supporting great local causes

We know everyone is busy, which is why we only meet twice a month and we just launched a flexible membership option. Message us to inquire more.

Joining the Romulus Rotary allows you to join a dedicated group, meet new lifelong friends, invest in your community, and make a real impact.

Which of these 8 reasons resonates the most? Drop a comment below, or send us a DM to be a guest at our next casual meeting!
Usually the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. ⚙️

President John Danci had some help ringing the bell at his first official meeting last night from his future-Rotarian daughter.

Our Club enjoyed fellowship out at the beautiful Downtown Romulus, Michigan Historical Park while hosting a program from Jeff Molby. Jeff is a Rotarian from Cairo, Michigan who has been pedaling around the country on the homestretch of a three-year volunteer mission to help people get their cancer appointments via the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program. He shared that this program had to deny 1039 ride requests in the Detroit area last year due to a shortage of volunteer drivers.

Thank you Jeff for your time and efforts!

July 1 is the start of a new Rotary Year, and last week we celebrated this occasion with the swearing in of our 2026-27 Board and inducting a new member!

Stan Bragg did a tremendous job this year as our President. Stan closed his term with special words of recognition for each club member and a significant donation to our “Every Member Every Year” RI Annual Fund efforts. He passed the gavel over to our next President John Danci, and Stan was presented with a Past President pin in appreciation from our Club.

Congratulations to our 2026-27 Board who was sworn in by District AG Carol Bevard.
President: John Danci
Secretary: Helen Willis
Treasurer: Miranda Jones
Trustee: Sandy Tenney
Trustee: Todd Barron

We also celebrated a special moment with the induction of our 15th member, Rhonda Cenance! Rhonda has been a dedicated contributor to our club for the last few months and we were glad to see her make this exciting next step.

We are looking forward to another spectacular year!

Thank you, also, to Norman Catering and Events for last minute assistance with dinner and their continued partnership!

Our Club is honored to have played a pivotal role in establishing the original Veterans Monument, and we were proud to join in the celebration of its grand reopening today. Special thanks to City Treasurer Stacy Paige and the Veterans Monument Committee, including our President Stanley Bragg, a distinguished US Army veteran, for their tireless efforts and dedication to this meaningful tribute. We extend our deepest gratitude to all service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to those who continue to serve with honor and distinction.
