Rotary Club of Romulus, Michigan

Rotary Club of Romulus, Michigan Chartered in 1939, the Club is the oldest service organization in Romulus. The Romulus Rotary Club is in District 6400 of Rotary International.

The Club was charted in 1939 and has been a thriving service group since that time. The club meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. The Club meeting locations change every week based upon project needs. Please message us if you are interested in attending & need location info. Each Wednesday the Romulus Rotary Club gathers to discuss and/or work on projects in the community as well as international

humanitarian projects. Club members include local business people and residents of the community who show outstanding leadership and a desire to serve. Often new Rotarians are invited into the club by an active member however, the Romulus Rotary Club would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in making a difference in the lives of others both in our community as well as the world.

Our Club is honored to have played a pivotal role in establishing the original Veterans Monument, and we were proud to join in the celebration of its grand reopening today. Special thanks to City Treasurer Stacy Paige and the Veterans Monument Committee, including our President Stanley Bragg, a distinguished US Army veteran, for their tireless efforts and dedication to this meaningful tribute. We extend our deepest gratitude to all service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to those who continue to serve with honor and distinction.

Our Club President Elect, John Danci, spent the last 3 days with 440 other President-Elects at the Great Lakes Rotary Leadership Seminar in Kalamazoo. He was inspired by Rotary International President Elect Olayinka Hakeem Babalola from the Rotary Club of Trans Amadi, Nigeria, and other great Rotarians from the tri-State area.

The Romulus MLK Day Committee (City of Romulus, Michigan & Romulus Community Schools) was honored to receive a grant from the Michigan Community Service Commission for our community warm up this year! Other partners on this grant were AmeriCorps and Youth Service America.

This is the second year for our Community Warm Up which accepted donations in support of ChristNet and The Clean Love Project. We were able to pack & donate 300 care packages!!! Double our goal!!! 🤩
