WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?
I am sure that by now you have figured out that there’s a whole lot of stuff going on in the universe and within us as the collective. We are now in a time of personal soul growth. We are living in times of unprecedented change, transformation, challenge and opportunity. Take a look at what’s going on around you. Do you see people who several months ago were at the top of their game and now it seems like their life is falling apart? It’s a busy time on the planet. You may wonder what is causing this chaos.
Astrologically speaking, what has happened is that Uranus is squaring Pluto and our sky looks just like it did in the 1960′s. In the 60′s, college campuses became centers of great debate and there was a lot of protesting as well. Young men were reaching the military draft age but not yet voting age (minimum voting age did not become 18 until 1971). It was during this time that the country became more involved in the timeline of the Vietnam War and the generation gap became a growing phenomenon.
Some other key events in the 60′s include music from The Beatles and part of the British Invasion that changed music in America and around the world. The bombing of the Mount of Olives during the six day war. John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, after serving as our American President for three years. Martin Luther King, Jr. made his famous, I Have a Dream speech to a crowd of over a million people. Millions participated in the Woodstock Festival of 1969. And for the first time in history, a human being sat his foot on the moon.
Despite all of the technological progress and growth during the last twenty years or so, global issues, environmental crisis, poverty, war and economic strife have taken its toll on us and on our beautiful planet.
It’s now time for each of us to let go of the old and to welcome and embrace the new. Our old approaches are no longer working because they were based on fear, separation, and greed and we are at a dangerous peak. Together, our world is being called to a whole new level of consciousness. So, what can we do to ensure that our children will have a bright future?
Sure, we can stay home and hide under our covers while thinking it will work out, as we are hoping someone else will come up with a solution for us. Or, is it time for each of us to awaken to our personal and collective responsibilities in creating a new planetary experience based on Unity, Love and Respect?
Now is truly the time for each of us to wake up and to embrace the new energies that are coming in. If you have an important decision to make, take a look at what is old and leaving your life. We are being shown what is ready to be transformed. Pay attention to what touches and moves you. This energy that began in April will continue for two years.
On a more individual level, many of us are also going through our own personal transformation. If you’re longing for something to change in your life, think of the experience of the caterpillar. How can you use your imagination to re-frame your experience? Ultimately, through new thinking, trust, and imagination, we can create a whole new experience for ourselves and for our world. Remember, a creepy, crawling caterpillar becomes a one of the most beautiful flying creatures in our world through transformation.
We will have energetic support as we go through these changes. When we do things differently, we will get a different result. We will see things differently. We may discover new insights and solutions. It is very important right now to connect your heart to your mind. Connecting to your lower mind can sometimes create feelings of worry and fear; when you connect to your higher mind, know that it will guide and direct you. Listen to your intuition.

My vision for our world is that our governments detach from their enmeshment with big business and specifically, world banks. We will have new sources of renewable energy to replace our dependence on oil. That scientists and doctors will be supported as they find new ways of healing to help us and our planet. My vision is that we will all treat the earth in a loving and responsible way, ensuring respect for all life. I see humane treatment of animals, especially those who are raised for our nourishment. My vision is that we share the wealth with the world to ensure no one goes hungry. I see our food being grown without genetic modification. I see each person in this world having food that will sustain them.
I see clean oceans and clean drinking water for all. I see clean air that is free of chemical trails and other substances. I see beautiful woods that are protected and all of the wildlife is protected as well. I see our beautiful dolphins being protected from radiation. I see them helping the earth by identifying mines in the ocean. I see all sea creatures being protected. In envision peace and an inspired livelihood for all; bringing abundance to all.
As global citizens, I see cooperation and true democracy by the people, for the people, ensuring fairness, justice and the pursuit of happiness. In my own life, I see myself doing my part to relieve the suffering of others and to always be inspired and creative, and showing others how to find insight and meaning in their lives. I envision being in the flow and being part of the solution.
