Watering plants that thrive on wet soil can be tricky, and often leads to overwatering. Try DIY-ing your own water feeder with a clean, empty w**e bottle! Thoroughly wash and rinse the w**e bottle, fill it to the top with fresh water, and quickly invert the bottle into the ground next to the plant. The soil naturally creates a seal when wet and will loosen when it’s dry, so make sure to push the neck of the bottle deep into the soil. The 2027 Fiscal Year budget for Arlington Water Utilities has been approved. The chart below helps visualize just how much your rate will be depending on your water usage.

We reward efficient water usage! If a residential customer uses 10,000 gallons of water or less each month, they will not pay rates more than $3.81 per 1,000 gallons. The new Fiscal Year rates will be implemented on Oct. 1, 2026.
