On Monday, September 7 (Labor Day), Historic Rock Ford's America250 Lecture Series welcomes Justin Cherry of Half Crown Bakehouse as he presents a lecture on “The Bakers of Washington's Army During the American Revolution.” This event will take place in the Langmuir Education Room in the Rock Ford Barn at 6 PM. General admission is $10 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.

The Historic Rock Ford Dancers will be demonstrating English Country Dance on the piazza of the Hand Mansion on Sunday, August 30 from 1 PM to 2:45 PM. Watch as they gracefully move through the dances with an opportunity for audience participation! This activity is free and open to the public.

On Monday, September 7, professional chef and historical baker Justin Cherry of Half Crown Bakehouse will be demonstrating bread-making during the American Revolution. This living history experience is part of Historic Rock Ford's Labor Day special event from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission includes self-guided tours of the General Edward Hand Mansion and entry to the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery. $12 Adults and $6 children payable in advance or at the event.
