Our annual It's A Wonderful Life celebration will be here before you know it. This year it's an expanded version because of the 80th anniversary of the movie.

Seneca Falls is widely celebrated as the real-life inspiration for Frank Capra’s fictional Bedford Falls.

It's very difficult for a municipality to set aside its own money for this type of project. This funding will help a great deal. Excellent!

The awards include $4.91 million for Ithaca, $3.74 million for Geneva, $1.09 million for Seneca Falls and $869,300 for Canandaigua, according to a $130 million statewide funding announcement from Gov. Kathy Hochul.

This is the latest regarding the erroneous school tax bills. It is from Dr. Reed, our Superintendent of Schools. It reads as if, if anything, you might have been under billed and they will catch up with you next time around. So, I guess, we all get to pay our school tax bills. Spread the word. Thanks. - Doug

The Town Supervisor announced this at Tuesday's meeting. I recommend you not jump to pay your taxes immediately. Give them some time to work out a process for fixing the situation. If we get close to the due date, we may end up paying and then letting them correct. Won't that be a delight?!? We're all in this together. Make sure your friends and neighbors know. Thanks. - Doug
