DAVIS EDUCATION COMPLEX AT DETROIT CITY AIRPORT KDET·WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2018·
After further review, the state appointed Emergency Managers were a total disaster for the City of Detroit and State of Michigan, especially with regards to public education. While they were in charge, the managers sold off all of the equipment to private investors at the West Michigan Aviation Academy in Grand Rapi

ds pocketing the revenue at the expense of the children in the Detroit Public School System. To correct the failures of these people, the school must be moved back to the grounds of the Airport to be a fully compliant aviation educational facility. Students will be able to fly in and out of school to take advantage of careers in flying and aircraft maintenance. We STRONGLY encourage the new leadership of the Detroit Public School Board and interested parties to take back control of our children’s education by re-investing into City Airport to prepare them for jobs to address the projected pilot shortage in the coming decade.
