This morning I’m now in the history book as the 63rd president of the Palmetto State Law Enforcement Officers Association. I’m humbled and thankful for my mentors who coached me up on leadership through out my career (I’m a product of my environment), my agency (Berkeley County Sheriffs Office) who invested in me with numerous of leadership training opportunities, and the PSLEOA for having the confidence in me.

Time to go to work.

𝐓𝐫𝐢-𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office will join the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office to host a free trailer stamping event on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Exchange Park in Ladson, South Carolina.

How does it work? Law enforcement agencies provide an owner-applied number stamped onto participants’ trailers. This, along with the trailers’ VIN and serial numbers, is then entered into the agency’s records system. This has helped identify stolen trailers in the past and can provide an extra layer of security.
