Our monthly meeting for August last Wednesday evening featured Brandon Minto - UC Davis Director of Government Relations/Federal Level. Brandon covered the impact of the current administration's canceling of funds budgeted for research programs at universities nation-wide and specifically research programs in the UC system. It was an eye-opening presentation and yet another reason to overturn the Republican hold on the House and Senate in DC.

At this week's Dems of Sun City Roseville meeting (Wed. 6:30 pm at Sierra Pines) YARD SIGNS for candidates will be available ($20 each) for Dr. Richard Pan (US Rep. CA-60) and Xavier Becerra (Gov. CA). Please bring your checkbook! Signs can now be displayed for the November Mid-Terms!

Monthly meeting on Wednesday covered the 14 ballot initiatives on the Nov. Mid-Term Ballot presented by Tom Ross, CEO of SWING STRATEGIES. Everyone agreed it was a most informative program.
