We’ve taken a little social media break after a busy winter. But behind the scenes we’ve been busy fixing equipment, closing out winter seasonals, and prepping for Green Season.

In the meantime, we are excited for Sheridan Community Recreation starting back up spring sports! We are proud to be a sponsor of Spring Soccer. Good luck to all the teams this season! ⚽️

We are seeing 100 feet of visibility in some open areas on rural roads. As the sun goes down we expect to see slick spots and minor drifting.

Please drive slow, when the snow bands come across the road the 100 ft visibility goes down quickly. Sudden breaking can cause sliding and potential accidents. Be careful out there!

Hold on tight, Hoosiers. Spring is within arms reach!!!

Crews have been out all day salting bridges, and overpasses as well as monitoring roadways. Nighttime crews will be out overnight doing the same. Just continue to use caution at intersections potential hazard spots.

We are going to be out treating secondary roads today and primary roads tonight ahead of potential weather coming in tomorrow.

Possible spring storms in the radar??

A quick glance at the simulated radar for tomorrow evening at 5PM ET showing strong to severe storms developing across the area (all modes of severe weather possible in Central and Southern IN/OH). Our team is working on detailed updates and insights on Clarity this AM!

Certainly concerned about the timing of this with school dismissal, after-school activities and the PM commute.

In case you haven’t noticed, the ☀️SUN☀️ IS OUT!!!! Till today it’s felt like a Kid Rock winter, somethin’ about not seeing the sunshine for a bunch of days or whatever it is.

Soak in this sun while you can!!! Stand outside for a few minutes, let the sun hit your face and enjoy! Health professionals say sun exposure for even just 30 minutes a day can increase vitamin D levels.

We know it’s probably not here to stay, take advantage of it while you can! 🤩☀️

Good morning Sheridan!

Crews were out all night brining roadways, salting intersections and bridges. We are continuing to monitor ahead of this clipper system throughout the day. Potential wind may cause drifting later this afternoon and into this evening with possibilty of limited visibility at times. Payloaders went through last night and pushed back snow along roadways to prevent extra drifting.

Trucks will be out throughout the entirety of the event to monitor conditions and treat. Stay safe!
