As a free, public charter school, Scholarship Prep welcomes all students to enroll. An integral part of the Scholarship Prep program is to provide comprehensive, wraparound services to support our diverse foster/homeless youth population in achieving their unlimited potential. When temperatures climb, our youngest Scholars skip the playground and beat the heat with a classroom game. An image goes up on the whiteboard, and they race to find the object called out. It's kind of like a live game of Where's Waldo, and it's a fun way to stay cool, keep busy, and get the wiggles out!

Learning the days of the week is a lot more fun with a song and a celebration!

Each morning, our youngest Scholarship Prep Upland Panthers gather for Circle Time to sing, count, and start the day together as a community. Add in a birthday shoutout, and it’s officially the best part of the morning.

We believe small routines build big things: confidence, consistency, and a sense of belonging before the day even really starts. 🐾

We’ve welcomed so many new Scholars and families to campus this year, and it’s been amazing to watch our community grow.

Panthers, it was just too quiet on campus without you! It was great to have our students and families back at Scholarship Prep Upland for this morning's Meet Your Teacher event.

New and returning Scholars got to know their teachers, picked up free dress code items, and are ready for our first day of school on Monday, August 10th!

We believe 2026-2027 is going to be an incredible school year!

Families, we can't wait to see you at Meet Your Teacher on Thursday, August 6th. Drop by any time between 9:30-11:30 AM to pick up free dress code items, meet your teacher, and learn what classroom "university" you'll be joining.

Only one more weekend before our first day of school on Monday, August 10th. It's a full day of learning with drop-off/breakfast at 7:30 AM and the first bell at 8:15 AM.

☀️ We hope our Scholars and families are enjoying summer break! Here are a few Back-to-School details to help you plan ahead for 2026-2027.

🍎 Meet Your Teacher - Thursday, August 6, 9:30-11:30 AM

🏫 First Day of School - Monday, August 10, a full day of learning from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM

🎒 You can find everything you need to prepare for the year, including our annual calendar and dress code guidelines, at our Back to School Hub: https://scholarshipschools.info/bts-upland

🛝 After-school program sign-ups open the week of July 20th. We'll share details once we're back in the office.

✏️ Reminder: you won't need to buy school supplies! Scholarship Prep provides everything your Scholar needs, including pencils, pens, crayons, markers, and more.

🎓 Interested in enrolling? Scholarship Prep is free to attend and accepting applications throughout the summer at sp.schoolmint.com.

Scholarship Prep families took over Crypto.com Arena! More than 500 Scholars, staff, and families across our five Southern California campuses in five counties joined the Los Angeles Sparks for an electric west coast vs. east coast buzzer beating win against the New York Liberty.

Thank you to the LA Sparks for including Scholarship Prep in this celebration of community and 30 years of WNBA basketball! We’re thankful for a partnership that Leads with Love for our Scholars and families!

With such an incredible first year at Scholarship Prep Upland in the books, we’re still smiling, thinking about this past Thursday’s Kindergarten and 8th-grade promotion ceremony. 🎓👏

To our very first promoting classes: you have so many amazing academic years ahead of you, but you will always hold a special place in our history and our hearts.
