Due to an ongoing investigation involving Dominic Capobianco, the Parkside Fire Company wishes to make clear that it does not condone the alleged conduct in any form. Effective immediately, Mr. Capobianco has been suspended from all duties and activities with the company pending the outcome of this investigation.
The Parkside Fire Company holds its members and leadership to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Any actions that fall short of these standards are taken seriously and addressed promptly.
We are fully cooperating with the appropriate authorities and will continue to do so throughout this process. We will remain financially transparent with the borough.
As this is an active investigation, we will refrain from further comment at this time.

At 1:30am 03/29/2026, Parkside Fire Company responded as part of a multi-company mutual aid assignment to a fully involved structure fire in the 2200 block of Duttons Mill Road in Aston Township.

Crews were dispatched around 1:40 AM to the former Green Ridge Rec Club, a building with deep historical ties to the local fire service. Upon arrival, companies encountered heavy fire conditions and worked together to bring the blaze under control.

Parkside personnel operated on scene alongside numerous neighboring departments, assisting with fire suppression and overhaul operations. Crews worked for several hours before the incident was placed under control and later cleared.

On the evening of December 24, Parkside Fire Company was dispatched to Chester City as part of a Second Alarm assignment for a working structure fire involving multiple occupied dwellings.

Members placed a hand line in service and conducted exterior water flow operations to assist with fire control and exposure protection. Additionally, Parkside Fire Company placed our TAC in service for blitz fire operations, providing high volume water application during heavy fire conditions.
