Join us this fall for any or all of ten active workshops at beautiful High Rocks Vista, a natural gem of Bucks County overlooking the Tohickon Creek, for an exciting project to restore life-sustaining native ecosystems in two special parks.
Nestled within both Tohickon Valley Park and Ralph Stover State Park, this area draws thousands of visitors each year to hike, climb, kayak, bird-watch and more.

Over 10 Learning Workshop sessions, volunteers will progress through different skill-building activities to improve the habitat for native plant and animal species and to prevent damaging erosion.
Working together we will learn to identify and properly remove invasive plant species, select and plant life-supporting native understory plants, and set up structures to protect these plants from deer until the plants are established and can survive and thrive without protection.
Volunteers will work alongside experts and will gain valuable knowledge that can then also be applied to personal properties or other public spaces. This area is highly visible to the public and experiences heavy foot traffic, which makes it a great spot to showcase how beautiful, vibrant, and interesting a healthy native ecosystem looks.
Interested volunteers are welcomed to join us for one, several,or even all of the sessions.

A group of mission-aligned non-profit and government organizations is coming together in this special parknership to restore the habitat in this favorite Bucks County destination.
The Tinicum Conservancy is leading the project, in close partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bucks County Parks and Recreation, Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance of Climbers (Epaclimbers) and the Tohickon Watershed Association. Collectively we believe that combining resources and leveraging our complementary expertise into a large, visible project is the best way to make a meaningful impact.
This special β€œHigh Rocks Parknership” effort is made possible by support from the Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic River Management Council, funded by the National Park Service.
