Geo. County, and Montgomery County, Md., Planning Department in Detroit for the 2026 National Planning Conference hosted by the American Planning Association!

From the inspiring opening session with the Mayor of Detroit Mary Sheffield and Keynote Speaker Jaz Ampaw-Farr to informative sessions on AI and planning for diverse communities to new technology demonstrations in the exhibit hall, the team is equipped with new ideas that are ready for implementation. The walking tours around Downtown Detroit and the vicinity revealed how art, culture, and placemaking are woven into the fabric of the city's identity.
