🐾❤️ Let’s Keep the Adoption Momentum Going!

August may be coming to a close, but our mission to find loving homes for shelter pets continues!

Thanks to the incredible support shown during the Maryland 3,000 Adoption Challenge and Clear the Shelters, pets across Maryland were given new beginnings and loving families. Let’s carry that momentum into September! 🐶🐱💪🏽

Prince George’s County Animal Services team is hitting the road again with four (4) adoption events throughout the month, giving you even more opportunities to meet your new best friend.

📅 Sept. 5 | Pet Supplies Plus Glenarden | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
📅 Sept. 12 | Pohanka Adoption Event | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
📅 Sept. 19 | PG Parks and Rec Tulip Farmers Market | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
📅 Sept. 26 | Bowie PetSmart | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

🎉 Even better — adoption fees remain WAIVED for all animals taken offsite!
Every adoption gives a deserving pet a loving home while creating space at the shelter for another animal in need. 🏡💙

Can’t make an event? Adoptable pets are also available at the Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility and Adoption Center, 3750 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro.

📢 Help us keep the momentum going! Share with your friends and family, stop by an adoption event and help us find homes for more Prince George’s County shelter pets.
