SENTENCING ANNOUNCEMENT
LaTyre Moore has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, suspending all but 5 years, and 5 years of supervised probation, after being convicted of motor vehicle manslaughter related to the death of 31-year-old Erika Boykin.
In January 2025, Moore was driving on Marlboro Pike near Walters Lane when she lost control of her vehicle and went airborne. Boykin was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Moore was intoxicated and identified herself as the passenger, maintaining that she was not the driver until the investigation revealed she was, in fact, the driver of the vehicle.

CONVICTION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Court denied a defense motion for a new trial and has upheld the conviction of Robert Warrington, who was previously convicted of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and misconduct in office.

Sentencing is scheduled on September 11, 2026. He faces up to 35 years in prison.

CONVICTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Bilal Ansariddeen was convicted by a jury of First-Degree Felony Murder and Use of a Firearm in connection with the December 2023 murder of Nelson Bonilla-Reyes.

Mr. Ansariddeen and at least three co-conspirators approached Mr. Bonilla-Reyes and his wife as they sat in their newly purchased truck parked outside of their home. The suspects were masked and armed. During the attempted armed robbery, Mr. Bonilla-Reyes was shot once in the chest and died from his injuries. One of the suspects attempted to shoot his wife in the face, but the gun malfunctioned.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 11, 2026.

CONVICTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Austin Robinson was convicted of five firearm-related offenses following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of a loaded ghost gun with an extended magazine inside his vehicle.

The jury returned guilty verdicts on all five counts, including possession of a loaded handgun in a vehicle, possession of a handgun in a vehicle, and possession of a detached magazine over 10 rounds.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 2, 2026.

Welcome back to school Prince George’s County students! 📚🎒

As a new school year begins, I’m proud to stand with our students, families, educators, and community partners. I had the pleasure of attending two more back-to-school events recently:

📍 The 6th Annual Solid Foundation Back to School Giveaway — celebrating students and helping families prepare for a successful school year.

📍 Suitland High School — 100 Men in Suits welcoming students on the first day of school to encourage and inspire young men as they begin the year.

Thank you to everyone who invest in our students and remind them that their community believes in them.

Here’s to a safe, successful, and great school year! 🍎
