We’re proud to support our local student-athletes! 🏃‍♀️🏈⚽

Through sports physicals this year, Wyandot Memorial Hospital was able to give back a combined total of $3,230 to local schools. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our students, schools, and community! 💙

Pictured are representatives from Carey, Mohawk, Upper Sandusky, New Riegel and Riverdale, along with WMH athletic trainers, as we celebrate giving back through this year’s sports physicals.

As a new school year gets underway, we want to wish all of our local students, teachers, coaches, administrators and school staff a safe, successful and exciting year! 📚🍎

Our commitment to a healthier community extends far beyond the walls of our hospital. By partnering with local schools and organizations, we can help remove barriers, support students and invest in the well-being of the next generation.

☀️ Summer activities can sometimes lead to cuts, scrapes, and skin injuries.

To help prevent infection this season:
• Clean wounds promptly
• Keep wounds covered while swimming
• Apply sunscreen after healing to reduce scarring
• Stay hydrated to support skin health

Taking care of small wounds early can help avoid bigger problems later!
