Thank you to all of the citizens at the football game, tonight, for remaining calm and off of the field while we worked. Even the kids did great. We really are the Best Town on Earth! (We cannot give out any patient information whatsoever so those questions will not be answered. It is against the law and we can lose our licenses for it). We are very proud of our team of volunteers, coaches, and ref’s that aided in caring for the patient. Job well done by everyone in our little community.

UVFD is in need of a commercial ice maker for filling coolers when we go out on wildland fires and structure fire calls and community events in the heat. having 500 lbs of ice on hand to fill coolers will be a big plus for our Upton Fire Department. These units range upward of 1500 to 5000 dollars. Obviously we would like a high quality reliable unit but we will need your help to get there. Seeking monetary donations through the venmo account or you can make contributions at city hall and let them know its for our ice machine. Thank you in advance for your generosity and as always we are proud to serve " The Best Town on Earth."

UVFD would like to recognize and give our appreciation to all those who made the gun raffle successful:
Tiger Transfer - donated the 1911 pistol
T&T Guns - donated the 7mm PRC
Iron Creek Services - donated the KRX Tactical Shotgun.
Also, a big shout out goes to Deb Huckins for selling a large portion of the tickets for us through this incredibly busy fire season. The funds raised will go towards purchasing an ambulance to replace our 23 year old one.
Kelley Millar kept the tickets safe for us until the night of the drawing.
Officer Knighten for stopping by to do the drawing for us.
And of course we couldn’t have pulled this off without all of those who bought a ticket or tickets. Thank you ALL for your continued support of our little volunteer fire/EMS department.

‼️DEADLINE IS FAST APPROACHING ‼️ We will do the drawing tomorrow (Sept. 2, 2026) on Facebook live at the Firehall at approximately 7:30 p.m. We still have a few tickets available. All proceeds go towards the purchase of a new ambulance to replace our 23 year old one.

UVFD would like to give a shout out to Jim Carter Truck Parts for their great customer service in supplying us with a replacement fuel pump for Engine 1. The part fit perfectly and she runs like a champ.

There is just a little over two weeks before the drawing! We have a limited number of tickets left and would love it if we could sell them all. Proceeds go towards a new ambulance to replace our 23 year old ambulance. It has served this community well, but is starting show wear and tear.
