We are so sorry to hear of the passing of a dear friend to the library, Chris. He would leave me little notes in the library. He was an organ donor, so he can live on in helping others. His family has started a gofund me, the link is in the comments if you would like to help them.

So sorry Izzy Nowak, Chris was a great guy.

I received an email saying we have been nominated! Winners will be announced May 19. I'm sure lots of libraries are nominated so chances of winning are slim, but still cool!

This is a great program! In doing this last year, the kids and I were able to get our pumpkin (from these seeds they sent) up to around 80lbs!! We are going to try again, let me know if you try and how big they get!

Happy Easter! Happy Resurrection Day!

I'll be out at some point today placing random Easter eggs around town. I hid a few yesterday but was afraid the rain would wash them away. Some have stickers, some dinosaurs, and a few have these cute lil birds I found. Definitey not a reason to take them all if you spot them, let's leave some for others! There are cute books in the library now as well for kids, courtesy of Jade Sadler s huge donation. Thank you, Jade!

I will be filling the books back up this weekend! As always, we need young adult/kid and adult books.

I have faith that the situation was addressed and won't happen again.

I appreciate and love how much the community loves the little free library.

Due to recent events, I need to once again urge you to have a talk with anyone that goes to the park. Please tell them the library is take a book, leave a book, love a book, keep a book, NOT sell the books or clean the library out and/or throw the books in peoples yards.There are many homes with doorbell cams, and I would hate to have to have the sheriff's dept be contacted to yet again come have talks with people who want to ruin things that people put their time into, to better the community.
