On May 28, 2026, the members of the Upton Police Department, along with their families, hosted our annual Senior Spaghetti Dinner at the Community Center. 🍝

This Memorial Day, members of the Upton Police Department attended the ceremony held at the Town Hall to honor our veterans.

Although there was no parade, we want to take this time to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for this country. Their courage and bravery will never be forgotten.

UPDATE – MEMORIAL DAY PARADE CANCELLED

Due to weather concerns, today’s Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.

A Memorial Day ceremony will still be held at 10:30 AM at the Upton Town Hall in place of the services that would have taken place on the Town Common.

Thank you for your understanding as we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Should any additional changes occur, updates will be posted here.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, Upton will hold its annual Memorial Day parade beginning at Memorial School and concluding at the Upton Town Common. The following roads will be closed to traffic for the duration of the Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies:

🚧 Route 140 between Elm St - School St;
🚧 North Main St between River St - Main St;
🚧 Church St between School St - North Main St

Detours will be in place. Roads are expected to be shut down between approximately 10:00am - 12:00pm. Expect delays along the parade route during these times.

The Upton Police Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to Maya Mexican Cocina & Tekila Bar for their thoughtful generosity during Public Service Recognition Week.

Last week, the Maya team dropped off meals for our officers and public safety staff as a kind gesture of appreciation. Their support was greatly appreciated by everyone here at the department.

We are fortunate to serve in a community where local businesses continue to show such strong support for public safety and public service.

Thank you to the entire Maya team for thinking of us and for helping make our day a little brighter. We truly appreciate it! 🌮💙
