Donations can be dropped off in the donation basket by the Upton Senior Center during building operating hours (Monday 9-4, Tues-Thurs 9-8, Friday & Saturday 9-4)

Our Uniting for Veterans Grant for $1,500 has been APPROVED!!

The food pantry of The United Parish of Upton, MA and Upton Community Center Food Pantry will each receive $750 to help those in our community who may be experiencing food insecurity.

Upton VFW Post 5594 provided over 350 lbs of food to the pantries of The United Parish of Upton, MA, St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, and Upton Department of Elder and Social Services this last season, and $6,900 in new clothing to Veterans Inc.

About the grant:

To empower local action, the VFW Foundation offers a matching donation grant of up to $1,500 for VFW Posts and Auxiliaries. They provide a $1-for-$1 match for:

Food Security: Every pound of food or dollar donated to local food banks and pantries.

Homeless Relief: Every dollar spent on qualified items for shelters or donated to relief organizations.

Our hearts and our pantry are FULL after accepting a very generous donation from the Upton Ridge Community! We feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many thoughtful and giving neighbors who are so dedicated to helping their fellow neighbors in need. We extend our most sincere thanks to the residents of the Upton Ridge Community for their kind donations, and especially to the food drive coordinators, Julie Askenase and her husband Richard, and Deb Mainstruck and her husband Andrew, as well as their young helpers!

The UCC Food Pantry is dedicated to supporting Upton residents in need of food assistance. Below is a list of items that the UCC Food Pantry is low or out of stock on and would appreciate greatly from members of our community.

DONATIONS PAUSED!

We are incredibly grateful for the donations we have received at the Upton Community Center Food Pantry during these times of uncertainty for many. Thanks to the generosity of the Upton community, our shelves are full and our overstock storage is at capacity, therefore we are unable to accept any physical donations at this time. We are always appreciative of monetary donations as well as gift cards to help stock the pantry with necessary items when supplies are low.
Gift cards and monetary donations can be dropped off at the Senior Center desk during operating hours.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpour of support we have received at the Upton Community Center Food Pantry!

Our shelves and overstock shelves are at capacity, and this would not be possible without the generous support of the Upton Community.

A special thank you to the members of the Upton Ridge Community, especially Juliette Askenase and Deb Mainstruck, for their efforts in coordinating the Upton Ridge food drive to support the Upton Community Center Food Pantry and the United Parish Food Pantry.

We are pausing on accepting any new donations, thanks to all of your support!

We know that times are challenging for many, and we appreciate the outpour of support from our community through all of the uncertainty.
If you are able and wanting to donate to the Upton Community Center Food Pantry, we have put together some sales for the week at our local grocery stores to keep in mind while you are doing your shopping.
Any donation, no matter the size, is much appreciated!
Donations can be dropped off at the Upton Senior Center lobby while the Community Center building is open (Mondays 9-4 pm, Tuesday-Thursday 9-8 pm, Fridays 9-4 pm)
