TOMORROW: Join us for an evening with Adrienne N. Spires as we welcome her back to Champaign for the launch of Roaring Resilience: Finding Grit in the Lion’s Den.

Hosted by RACES, Courage Connection, and the City of Champaign’s Equity and Engagement Department, this event will hold space for conversation around intimate partner violence, sexual assault advocacy, parenting, and survivor resilience.

Affirming care means support that respects who you are, honors your identity, and helps you feel safe, seen, and believed.

During Pride Month, we want to uplift LGBTQIA+ community members while also naming something important: affirming care is not seasonal. It should be present year-round.
