Caring Kitchen is a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit emergency homeless shelter, soup kitchen, food pantry, clothing & household goods pantry, tutoring center and utility assistance provider serving Champaign Co. Caring Kitchen's Mission is:
• to operate a soup kitchen where everyone is welcome to enjoy a healthy, well-balanced meal.
• to operate a food pantry offering a weekly supply of fresh and n
on-perishable foods.
• to operate an emergency shelter for the homeless, victims of domestic violence, clients of mental health, veterans and more.
• to distribute new and used clothing and household goods to those in need.
• to provide tutoring services to elementary children and youth in the community.
• to distribute backpacks of food to underserved children and youth at no charge to the local school system.
• to provide additional services consistent with our primary ministries.
