Our wonderful friends at Urbana Friends Church are opening their trunks and their hearts for a fun-filled evening of TRUNK OR TREAT! 🚗🍭

Today we’re taking it back to the beginning and giving some love to The Spotted Cow—the home of our very FIRST Blessing Barn! 🏡🥫

Every big idea has to start somewhere, and for the Blessing Barns, this was it.

One little Barn.
One simple idea.
Give a little. Take a little. ❤️

What started at The Spotted Cow has grown into multiple Blessing Barn locations throughout our community, giving neighbors a place to grab a little help when they need it—and giving others an easy way to give back.

It’s pretty amazing to think about how much kindness has passed through that very first Barn. 🥹

To The Spotted Cow, thank you for believing in this mission from the beginning and giving our first Blessing Barn a place to call home. 🐄❤️

And to everyone who has stocked it, straightened it, donated to it or taken only what they needed—YOU are the reason this works.

💜 COMMUNITY HELPING COMMUNITY! 💜

One thing we absolutely LOVE about our community is that when someone needs a little extra help, there are people ready to step up. 🥫❤️

Today we want to give a big shout-out to Oasis of Mercy Food Pantry in Mechanicsburg!

Their pantry is located at 40 Walnut St. in Mechanicsburg and is open the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 3:30–5:30 PM.

Just like our Blessing Barns, their mission is simple but powerful: making sure our neighbors have access to food when they need it. ❤️

The Blessing Barns aren’t here to compete with other food resources — we’re here to work alongside them. When our community knows where help is available, EVERYONE wins.

So please help us spread the word! 📣 Share their page, share their hours, and tell someone who may need a little help.

And remember: there is NEVER shame in needing a helping hand. Sometimes we give. Sometimes we receive. That’s what community is all about. 💜

If you’re heading to the grocery store this week, would you grab just ONE extra item for a Blessing Barn? 🛒❤️

Some things we can always use:
