Into your life come dozens of strangers: police, foster parents, social workers, judges, lawyers, and more. You need help, but where can you turn? Now, imagine a trained, committed, court-appointed advocate who speaks up for you, stands by your side, argues for your best interests—until the case is closed. That’s what it means to be a CASA.

Back in April, our community showed up in a BIG way for Champaign County CASA during Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend! 💙🏃

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate that support and accept checks from Papa John’s and Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend. Combined with donations from our runners and peer supporters, more than $8,000 was raised to support CASA’s mission!

We are so grateful to everyone who ran, donated, volunteered, and supported us along the way. 💙

Now we’re looking ahead to 2027! Registration is already open, and we’d love to have even more runners and volunteers join us next year.

Children in foster care need someone in their corner — someone to listen, advocate, and make sure their voice is heard when it matters most. CASA volunteers provide that support and consistency during some of the most uncertain moments in a child's life.
