Miss the No Kings protest on March 28th? Here's an updated version in 4K with improved audio. It begins when music kicks off, keeps running as the crowd begins to march away around the block, and captures the return of the crowd after the loop.

WCIA coverage of Saturday’s No Kings rally and march in Urbana. While not wrong, their count doesn’t reflect that some 4,000 people attended.

Kudos to the attendees featured!

The last part might raise your blood pressure, though.

Yesterday's joyful resistance was a sight to see! Beautiful humans of all ages focused on humanity, freedom, and our nation's Constitution chanted, marched, and shared their messages. They enjoyed music, costumes, and the empowering spirit of togetherness.

Thank you, Champaign County, for showing up — more than 4,000 of you — to fight peacefully for what is right and good.

No Kings 3, first and foremost, is about community. Protesting is a powerful tool in the fight against the fascist regime “leading” our country. But it’s not the only lever we can and must pull. Champaign County Invisible is committed to working with the local agencies and initiatives already doing the hard work to protect and support those targeted by the racism and greed that surround us. Until forces for good prevail.

Tomorrow (March 28) is the day we gather to show two important things: our utter contempt for how the president and his minions are running our country … and our unity around peaceful protest, protecting our friends and neighbors, and the power of community.

Please keep these essentials top of mind:

▶ No Kings 3 happens from 1 to 3 p.m. at the county courthouse in downtown Urbana.

▶ Give yourself extra time for parking and be respectful of area businesses.

▶ MARCH DETAILS: After entertainment, speakers, and costume contests, the city will provide an es**rt for this route — east on Main to Vine, south on Vine to Illinois, west on Illinois to Race, north on Race and back to the stage area on Main.

▶ MORE MARCH DETAILS: Help us keep the march organized, safe, and spirited by starting when we announce from the stage and sticking to the route.

▶ ▶ ▶ A final must: A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
