Share your love of the library with friends and Family during September - National Library Card Sign-Up Month - for a chance to win a $25 gift card!

Tickets will be available at the library to give to friends or family members and when they turn in the ticket while signing up for a library card, you both will be entered to win a $25 gift card! Hand out as many as you wish.

Anyone signing up for a new card or existing card holders that check out with their library card will be entered in the drawing.

Patron Book Review Display - as part of the adult reading club, we ask you to rate the books you read from 1 to 5 stars. We place select books on display with the star ratings from our patrons. Check out what your neighbors are reading and see if you agree with their opinion of a book!

Reading Clubs aren't just for kids! Stop by the library to join the Adult Reading Club and turn your love of reading into a chance to win a $100 Kroger card

Along with the entry for the year-long reading club, we offer "quick challenges" for adults. Pick a challenge and complete the tasks required. ( These are only available on the counter above the magazines at the library) Instructions for each challenge are listed on the entry form.

When you have completed the entry, bring it to the library and place it in the Adult Reading Club Entry Box. The last day to enter is Saturday, December 19th.

Winners will be chosen randomly throughout the year. Prizes include tote bags, small gift cards, etc.

These challenges are separate from the year-long reading club. Books read for the year-long contest may be used to complete these quick challenges.

We thank you for all you have done including providing books free books to children through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright, and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.

Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl Thomas Dean (1942 – 2025), her mother Avie Lee Caroline Owens (1923 – 2003), and father, Robert Lee Parton, Sr. (1921 – 2000).

A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family. Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her songs will continue to resonate with people of all ages, and her philanthropic work will have a lasting impact.

At Dolly’s request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family. Dolly’s fans and friends from around the world are encouraged to pay tribute to Dolly on social media by tagging or by leaving a message at www.dollyparton.com
