Urbandale Parks & Recreation offers youth and adult classes, programs, and events; a bustling Senior Recreation Center; more than 50 parks and playgrounds; and more than 50 miles of paved trails! Urbandale boasts more than 900 acres of parkland, 50+ parks, 50+ miles of paved trails, 13 ball diamonds, 12 tennis courts, 10 soccer fields, 8 open-air shelters, 4 pickleball courts, 2 enclosed shelter houses, a skateboard park, and a senior recreation center!

Mission Moon is almost ready for liftoff, but registration closes THIS SUNDAY!

Inspired by NASA's Artemis mission, Mission Moon takes young explorers on a hands-on STEM adventure where they'll scout lunar landing sites with drones, design and build moon rovers, collect and analyze simulated lunar soil samples, and even construct life-sized lunar habitats.

This immersive program is perfect for curious minds interested in space, science, engineering, and technology.
