As we celebrate our 40th birthday and the beginning of another fiscal year, we honor the wish families, volunteers, donors, medical professionals, and community partners who have shaped our mission and made more than 5,000 wishes possible across the state.

But this year-long birthday celebration is not just about looking back. It's about sparking what's next!

You can use your time, talent, treasure, and heart to help grant the next life-changing wish. During this milestone year, every act of support helps bring hope, strength, and joy to a child in our state.

This past week, wish kid Sam spent his time at the Iowa State Fair doing what he loves: showing animals and being part of the agriculture community that's so important to him! 🐑💫

It's especially meaningful to see Sam in the show ring after having the honor of granting his wish for an action track chair this past summer. For many children battling a critical illness, a wish can help create an opportunity to experience joy beyond a diagnosis. 💙

Today, we want to recognize our community partner, Jay's CD & Hobby!✨

Jay's CD & Hobby generously donated more than $18,000 to help grant wishes for children fighting critical illnesses. From helping collect items for a vintage gaming room wish to hosting an in-store donation drive that turned used gaming equipment into life-changing wishes, they continue to show up for wish families across Iowa. 💙

Because of community partners like Jay's CD & Hobby, we can reach more eligible children and bring hope, strength, and joy when they need it most.

A huge shoutout to our partners at Green Belt Bank & Trust for hosting their youth football clinic benefitting Make-A-Wish Iowa! 🌟🏈

Over 20+ ISU football players joined nearly 100 kids to make the day a huge success! Thanks to the generosity of the Iowa Falls community, sponsors, volunteers, and participants, Green Belt Bank & Trust raised more than $85,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for children fighting critical illnesses.
