Good morning, all! I know I've been bad about posting updates and I've been getting lots of questions, so here goes.

As most of you know I was forced to sell Veteran due to being shut down for so long by Covid. My wife and I decided to reinvest the money from the sale and to keep working to introduce people to the Bay through our business. We found a great Bay-built boat and bought her after lots of talking with the boatyard. We expected her to be in the yard for about six months getting repairs and upgrades.

A year later we are still months away from a launch due to the lack of labor. We just can't get anyone to do the work. We are not giving up but this new economy is making it difficult for all businesses to survive, much less thrive. Please keep us in your thoughts and, hopefully, we'll be back making your bay-dreams come true by Spring!

Every year on this day I prepare to honor the Americans who died or were injured on September 11, 2001. Every year I remember how my heart hammered as we all realized our nation was under attack. I remember the fear, the anger, the confusion we all felt as our sisters and brothers were sacrificed. I also remember the days and weeks after that brutal day. I remember the jets patrolling overhead and the military presence. I remember the pride I felt for my sisters and brothers in emergency services who responded that day, who died that day. I remember the individuals who stepped up in every way on that day and on the days that followed. I remember the page turning on American that day. I remember. I pray that you do, too. Let the legacy of that day, now two decades passed, be respect and love and growth and not hatred or intolerance or division. In this way,tomorrow and every day, help me honor those who sacrificed that day and who sacrifice every single day to keep us safe.
