Urich Volunteer Fire Department The Urich Volunteer Fire Department is located in the Northwest Section of Henry County Missouri. Our service is made up of all volunteer members.

Our primary service area is rural. Our service area is a main thoroughfare for copious amounts of traffic that is headed to the Lake of the Ozarks. We provide fire protection and first response of medical calls in our district and also run mutual aid for other departments. We are dispatched through Henry County Joint Communications located in Clinton Missouri. We have training twice a month free f

or all members.We have a 6 bay station with a training/meeting room. Our fleet consists of 2 Engines,2 Brush trucks, 1 pumper tanker, and 1 Rescue truck. Our primary ambulance service is Golden Valley Memorial Hospital located in Cinton Mo. As any other volunteer department we are always looking for volunteers. There are many different roles to have in the department. We respond to over 100 calls a year.

Can't say enough good about this guy! I've watched him go from following his Dad and uncles around on calls since he was big enough to walk to the best of the best! There is no way to count the number of people that are alive today due to Andy's commitment to EMS. He is a true asset to any department he works with. I know Urich FD is truly lucky to have him as one of our members. Congratulations Andy, you very much deserve this award and more!
