Providing truly individualized care means being able to reach youth and adults with all kinds of lived experiences, traumas and struggles.

That's why we have built a large Independent Practice Association: a network of over 360 providers who bring something special to every connection.

They're not only social workers offering clinical expertise. They are mentors, behavioral specialists, teachers and peer advocates who have experienced their own similar challenges. All of the providers have one thing in common, they are experts at helping individuals feel genuinely connected, understood and supported.

No two individuals or families are the same. That is why our teams are carefully selected for their expertise in each specific service area.

Our teams stay closely connected and fully committed, tracking progress, navigating challenges and adjusting each plan as needs change along the way.

At ICAN, we know one treatment plan doesn't work for everyone.

That's why we have built a diverse array of programs that let us customize care for each individual or family. Support that not only meets their needs, but focuses on the goals they want to work toward.

And it's not just office appointments. We meet people where they are: in schools, in their homes and throughout the community. Add in our 24/7 Crisis Management support, and you'll see why our non-traditional approach leads to such a high rate of success.

This is what Keeping Families Together looks like.

We all know that walking does wonders for our wellbeing. It boosts endorphins, reduces stress and lifts our mood.

This month, our team was invited to walk for a little fresh air, uplifting conversation and some feel-good movement together.

Because supporting our team's mental health is part of how we keep showing up for the families we serve.

How do you like to get moving and boost your mood?

The color green represents new life, growth and hope. Making it the perfect color to help bring awareness to mental health struggles. Stigma is one of the biggest barriers to mental health care. At ICAN we are committed to ensuring that everyone we work with feels seen and heard.

Our teams joined Wear Green Day to help show a strong visual and public commitment to reducing the stigma around the hard conversations.

This flag football season the Buffalo Bills are bringing recognition to girl's flag football. Each week they are honoring a coach and awarding their team $1,000!

Week 4 was our own Wellness Coordinator, Coach Tim Moore and as an added bonus, last week his team, the Bulldogs, got to practice with former Buffalo Bills running back and current ICAN board member, Latavious Murray. A one of a kind experience for the team, Moore said it was truly incredible that a player of Murray's caliber would take the time to practice a full session with his team!

Congrats Coach Moore! Go Bulldogs! And Let’s Go Buffalo!

Coaches from the Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse regions will be honored over seven weeks and receive $1,000 for their teams
