LANE CLOSURES NOTICE

• Intermittent lane closures on Van D**e north of Hall Road for crack seal repairs, Thursday and Saturday.

• MacKay Ct. near Van D**e and the right turn lane on Canal will be closed Thursday for water main repairs.

LANE CLOSURE ALERT

Lane closures are scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 26th for the Van D**e Median Project.

The inside northbound lane will be closed, just south of Canal and re-open north Hall Rd.

The southbound turn lane to Canal will be closed, south of Hall Rd., and the southbound inside lane will become the “turn only” lane from Van D**e onto Canal. The inside lane will re-open south of Canal.

The project is expected to last 3 weeks. Expect this closure for the entire project.

Do you know this male?

On 10-9-2024 at approximately 8:00pm this male, who claimed to be a Instacart driver, was in the area of Cass and Chapoton making a delivery.

The male started yelling at a female pedestrian and her children. The male threw a soda bottle at the female and allegedly struck the female with his vehicle.

The male is driving a silver Chevy Impala with tinted windows, black aftermarket rims and one of the tires appears to be a spare.

If you have any tips that would lead to identifying our suspect, please contact Detective Pecorilli.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting life changing wishes for children with critical illness for many years.

This young man has a wish to meet officers at the Utica Police Department. He caught our attention on October 12th 2024 at approximately 9:30pm and let us know he wanted to meet us so bad while at Dave and Busters in Utica while hanging around the Make-A-Wish Pac-Man donation machine in the Dave and Busters lobby. The male seen in this photo pryed open the plexiglass donation bin access door and removed $200-$300.

If you have any info as to how we can connect with this fella and make his wish of meeting the Utica Police come true, please contact DET Pecorilli or OFC Bartrow.

ROAD CLOSURE

Auburn road will be closed to all vehicle traffic today from 11:30am until 1:30pm.

Auburn will be closed to all pedestrian traffic from 12:30 until 1:30.

Please adjust your commute accordingly.

MDOT ROAD CLOSURES

Be advised on Friday October 11th and Monday October 14th from 9:00am until 3:00pm, MDOT will have one lane of Auburn closed between Utica and Moscone.

Traffic will still be able to flow east and west as the closed lane will be redirected into the turn lane.

Please expect backups in these areas while the roads are being worked on and adjust your commute time accordingly.
