Youth Speed & Agility starts this THURSDAY! We are changing things up and will go one day per week for an hour, hoping to get a great turnout and help our youth improve their speed and agility! This is for all Centennial students in grades 1st-6th and will be on Thursdays in June and July from 8:30-9:30.

🎉 That’s a wrap on an incredible week at Camp Invention! On our fourth and final day, campers wrapped up their epic missions by celebrating their new planetary homes, showcasing their custom ocean innovations, presenting their final case files to solve the animal mystery, and testing their completed security systems. We are so incredibly proud of our young innovators for their creativity, teamwork, and brilliant designs this week!

💙 We want to extend a huge thank you to our incredible teachers, high school and junior high volunteers, and custodians for making Camp Invention a huge success! From guiding our young innovators through complex STEM challenges to keeping our spaces clean and running smoothly, your hard work and dedication made it all possible. 🌟 Day 3 of Camp Invention was all about problem-solving and thinking outside the box! Our creative campers designed habitats to protect alien life, built working arcade games from recycled materials, engineered custom contraptions to rescue an endangered animal, and used mirrors to deflect lasers from their security boxes. It's amazing to watch their confidence and STEM skills soar as they tackle these big challenges!

🌊 Day 2 of Camp Invention was packed with high-energy collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking! Our campers raced rovers to collect planet samples, pitched ocean innovation prototypes to "investors," analyzed fingerprints under microscopes, and added security impact lights to their wearable devices. They are doing an incredible job building real-world skills and bringing their big ideas to life!

Congratulations to Breckyn Hatfield, Brielle Hladky, Luke Hoffschneider, Stephanie Hoops, and Addison Petzoldt for being selected to participate in Concordia University's Summer Chamber Choir. Come and see our awesome vocal music students perform two concerts on July 4th at the Seward Civic Center. Their final concert will be held on July 26 at 3 p.m. in the Borland Music building recital hall on the Concordia campus!
