Play-Snack-Chat at the Del Rio library was the winning triple play for a nice start of the week for our students. Students were able to learn the resources we offer and enjoy a good time simultaneously. As a first event, we couldn't have asked for a better turn out.📚🥳🪇

Library Loteria is possible because of our sponsors...HEB and the Snack Bar for the Del Rio campus! HEB donated the most adorable prizes and snacks. In addition, we had cash value coupons for the Snack Bar all thanks to Michelle, who runs the service for our students! Michelle and the Librarian put their heads together and well Michelle was the genius to offer such a nice prize to students. Every prize that we offered had a Snack Bar coupon, from $1-$10 off what they purchase.

The poll question for Aug./Sept. Is up...Let's measure in...make your choice on the "This or That" board at the Del Rio library. In the Spring, we received a great response for student's song "on repeat". Look out for Oct. And Nov. whiteboard questions. Del Rio library loves to help students find a positive way to destress/distraction after class or an assignment. Our board questions aim to find commonality and have fun in the process. We look forward to your response.

The Del Rio library has the big picture in mind when creating programming for our students. We've curated events for this fall semester that will sure capture students interests. We have just enough events planned to make the experience memorable. Save the calendar to your favorites gallery and/or your fridge so you don't miss out.
Our first event, Library loteria, kicks off August 25th to showcase all the resources the library has to offer. However, fun is always in store for YOU student! We hope you can make it and participate.
