Garner, welcome to Garner!

So many people say they love Garner State Park; some even say they found love tucked between our cypress trees, trails, and river bends. But how many can say they fell in love, got engaged at Garner, and loved this place so much that they named their firstborn Garner?
Well… today, little Garner returned to meet the original Garner, all while wearing a Garner shirt! Now that is true Garner love.
Moments like these make our hearts do a happy two‑step under the pavilion oak tree. We adore seeing how this magical place we care for becomes a part of our visitors’ stories and sometimes in the most delightfully unexpected ways.

Garner State Park is now under a burn ban!

Burn ban in effect until further notice. No wood campfires are allowed. You may use charcoal in designated fire rings and containerized fuel stoves for cooking purposes only. Cooking fires/stoves must be attended at all times and extinguished immediately after cooking.
Thank you for being so helpful with keeping our park safe!
