🌾 **A Life Well Lived – Meet Margie L. Bourn** 💛

Born and raised in Big Wells, Texas, Margie Bourn has lived a life full of strength, independence, and dedication. From becoming the first Driver’s License Clerk in Zavala County to serving 25 years with the Department of Public Safety, Margie has always been a trailblazer.

After raising her family in Crystal City, she spent many years farming alongside her husband near the Nueces River—continuing even after his passing with the help of her son. Her resilience and love for country living defined her life.

At nearly 95 years old, Margie made the transition to her new home at 214 Martin Street. While the decision wasn’t easy, it quickly became clear she was exactly where she needed to be.

Today, Margie enjoys:
✨ A warm, welcoming environment
✨ Daily meals and attentive care
✨ Fellowship, friendships, and community
✨ Activities, gatherings, and spiritual opportunities

Though her sight and hearing may be limited, her spirit is not—she knows every resident and checks on them daily. 💕

“This is where I needed to be. It’s my home.”

We are honored to be part of Margie’s journey and to provide a place where comfort, care, and community come together.
