🏃🏅 Run to Remember 🏅🏃

On Sunday, members from your Uxbridge Police and Uxbridge Fire Department participated in Boston's Run To Remember. This annual 5-mile or half-marathon run through Boston honors first responders, with participants from all over the country coming together.

This year, we ran in memory of Stephen LaPorta. We love and miss you Steve.

Cheers and high fives, along with camaraderie, and friendship motivated everyone to push through to the finish! Congrats guys and gals!

Uxbridge it is that time of year again. Uxbridge DPW has contracted Massachusetts Broken Stone (MBS) to do some milling and paving throughout town.

One of the roads on this year's schedule is East Hartford Ave between Oak St and Deanna Dr. This includes the infamous East Hartford bridge by Tri River. Since the milling machine and trucks will occupy the width of the bridge, this portion of the project will be done at night with the road being closed to through traffic. Residents of that stretch may be delayed.

Tuesday May 26 at 8PM the above stretch of road will be closed until approximately 6 AM Wednesday May 27.
Detour for westbound vehicles will be at Deanna Dr redirecting out to West River Rd and out to Mendon St (Rte 16).
Detour for eastbound vehicle will be at Oak st redirecting out to Mendon St (Rte 16).
Detail Officers will be in place to assist motorists.
We highly recommend seeking alternate route during this time. MBS has indicated that they plan to return approximately 1 week after to pave that stretch (weather depending).

For more information on the road schedule for this year, please the Uxbridge DPW page.
