Date, Bacon & Blue Cheese Skewers β and yes, they are exactly as good as they look. π€€
The caramel chew of Mariani Pitted Dates, salty crispy bacon, creamy blue cheese, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Sweet, savory, bold, and gone before the rest of the spread is even touched.
Your next outdoor gathering just found its appetizer.
How to make them (about 25 minutes):
π« Slit each Mariani Pitted Date and tuck in a piece of blue cheese
π₯ Par-bake bacon at 400Β°F for 6β8 minutes until pliable
πͺ‘ Wrap each stuffed date in bacon, secure with a skewer
π₯ Bake another 6β8 minutes until bacon is crisp and cheese is just melted
π― Transfer to a board and drizzle with balsamic glaze
Try this: swap blue cheese for goat cheese if you prefer something a little milder.
