We are pleased to announce that our program Safe In My Hands FCC & Early Learning has taken the initiative to ensure and provide high- quality in our overall program, as we continue to serve children and their families who are committed to providing balanced meals and snacks that encourage good nutrition and wellness for young children and their families. We are excited that our program has earned CACFP Child Nutrition Professional Certification from the National CACFP Sponsor Association. As we grow as teachers, FCC educators, community leaders and mentors will continue to grow in our profession as we strive for excellence. We believe that the wellness and well-being of all children and adults is important.

We would like to thank Solano Family and Children Services Food Program Department for nominating our program to spend a day focused on health, nutrition, and wellness with Family child care providers and educators. Thank you for choosing our program to represent Solano County.

As we spent the day at CACFP I was able to take away some additional resources and information that will enrich the quality of health, nutrition and wellness in our program. I am looking forward to implementing the information and resources.
