As Pink Heals Solano finishes up our final year, we wanted to help share some of our community's generosity. Our little Pink kiddo Oliviya, is hosting her 3rd annual Toy Drive for the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and we heard she needed a few more toy donations. So the pink elves went shopping in the rain and made a surprise delivery tonight. Her smile was all the thank you we needed. If you’re looking to donate a toy, please see the flyer that we posted for Oliviya’s Toy Drive🎁🎁🎁🎁

After our toy delivery, the elves decided it was time for dinner. We ran into a few of our friends with the Vacaville Police Department doing the same. Because we like surprising others, we jumped at the chance to buy the officers dinner to thank them for their service. It’s about the small things we do for one another to make the world a better place.

We hope everyone has a wonderful & blessed Thanksgiving with their family and friends💖💖💖💖

Say hello to the local group, Norcal Emergency Responders Organization - NERO.

The Pink Heals Guardians are so excited about the handoff to NERO. They hold many of the same values as Pink Heals Solano, so the transition will be with ease. NERO’s mission is to support first responders, their families and their communities. They will continue that work with "Christine" by adding support & comfort for families during battles with cancer. You will see a little added signage to "Christine" but for the most part, she will not change. She’s a pillar of our community and will continue to stay here for everyone to love. So please welcome all the new drivers and volunteers of NERO to the pink world of Pink Heals. Please reach out to them by sending a message to their page if they can be of service. We will forward any inquiries we receive to NERO so they can make contact.

Going forward, Pink Heals will keep this page up for all to enjoy. We couldn’t bear with the idea of washing away 10+ years of photos, stories & memories. This way our history and love for the communities and families we touched will always be there. We will still read messages so if you need to reach out, please feel free. As of today we will not be able to fill any more t-shirt orders. Give us a little time to get in contact with those of you who have already reached out. Also, once we fill our orders, NERO will be receiving any remaining shirts.

We can’t thank you all enough for the overwhelming love and support you’ve given us for the past 13 years. We poured our heart and soul into every family we met and feel privileged to call them our pink family. Please continue the pink love by welcoming and supporting NERO! And our sincere thanks to NERO for proudly accepting our Pink Lady into your family! 💖💖

Friends, family and supporters, the time has come for us to share an update on the status of Pink Heals Solano. After much debate and many heartbreaking conversations, we have made the difficult decision to close our local Chapter. Volunteer groups all over have been struggling for the last few years to stay afloat, and sadly, we had been struggling too.

We are incredibly proud and honored to have met so many of you and been able to play a small part in so many of your journeys. We've made lifelong friends, celebrated, grieved and helped rally communities around those in need. There are countless unforgettable memories for all of us.

Our original plan for both Pink Ladies, "Christine" and "Jo", to join another local Chapter and carry on, sadly, did not come to fruition. However, we're happy to say that "Jo" has been returned to her stomping grounds at Vacaville Police Department and will continue to be used for community events and outreach. So you will still see her out & about! Huge thanks to our friends at VVPD for their help in making this happen!

As of now our beloved "Christine", a beautiful 1984 fire engine, is still in need of a new home. This is where we need your help! Ideally, we would love to see her stay (relatively) local, either out in the community somehow or on display somewhere. None of us can fathom the idea of sending her to an auction or junkyard. And we know that none of you could either. We WANT to keep all of the stories & signatures alive for all of you. We know how truly special they are to you, and to us. Please rack your brains and share with anyone you think may be interested in taking "Christine". We are happy to talk details and want to make the transition as smooth as possible.

We still have plenty of shirts available! Please message us of you'd like to buy at a discounted price! Any funds left over after final expenses will be dispersed in line with our original mission to "Keep It Local" and support families battling cancer. We ask that you continue to support other local groups helping cancer patients & their families. Volunteers are what these small, homegrown groups need the most right now!

Solano County and beyond - THANK YOU for an amazing, unforgettable 10+ years. We love you all so very much!
