Midweek Meeting!
Wednesday October 21st
5:30PM-7:30PM
At our favorite w**e bar! The Main Grape Vacaville

09/10/2026

📚 Attention Solano Silent Book Club!

Just a quick heads-up for Saturday! There’s an event happening downtown the same day as our meetup, so Main Street in front of the library will be blocked off.

We are still meeting! 💜📖 If you’re planning to join us, please RSVP and plan to arrive a little early. Parking may be a little farther from the library than usual, so give yourself a few extra minutes.

The parking lot at the gym across the street should still be accessible, as well as the parking lot across the street from Pietro’s.

Don’t let a little parking adventure keep you away 😂 Grab your book, your Kindle, or whatever you’re currently reading and come hang out with us!

Can’t wait to see everyone Saturday! 📚☕️

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Due to a planned event at our usual location, our Silent Book Club meeting on Saturday, August 8 has been canceled.

We are looking into the possibility of relocating this Saturday’s meetup. If we’re able to secure a new location, we’ll post an update as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We hope to still see everyone this Saturday if we’re able to make it happen! 📚

Hello 👋 With so many new faces joining us at today’s meetup, we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves.

We’re Charlotte and Angela, best friends and the co-hosts of Solano Silent Book Club. 📚

We’re pretty much opposites in the best way. Angela is our social butterfly who can always strike up a conversation and loves a good thriller. I’m the quieter half of the duo, happiest with a fantasy novel in hand and a cozy reading corner to disappear into. Together, we wanted to create a space where both introverts and extroverts could feel at home.

That’s exactly what Silent Book Club is all about. It’s a global community with chapters around the world, built on one simple idea: bring whatever you’re reading, enjoy an hour of quiet reading together, and socialize only if you want to before or after. No assigned books. No pressure. No homework. Just books, good company, and a welcoming community. https://silentbook.club

Whether you’re a lifelong reader, trying to get back into reading, or simply looking to meet fellow book lovers, we’d love to have you join us at an upcoming meetup.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey & and welcome to all of our new members. We can’t wait to read with you! 💜📖

Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with nearly 2,000 chapters in 55+ countries. There's no assigned reading — it's bring your own book. Join a local chapter near you, book a reading retreat in a stunning destination, or start a chapter of your own!
