🚒 Breaking Ground on Station 293! 🚒

Today marks an exciting milestone for Rincon Valley Fire District as we officially break ground on our new Station 293 on the corner of Colossal Cave Rd and Via Rancho Del Lago! 🎉

Construction is expected to take approximately one year, and we look forward to watching this important project take shape. Station 293 represents an investment in the future of our district and will help us continue meeting the needs of our growing community.

We are incredibly grateful to Lloyd Construction Company, Inc., our Board members for their continued support and Chief Tucker’s leadership, as well as everyone whose hard work and planning helped bring this project to life.

We look forward to sharing updates throughout the journey and celebrating when Station 293 is ready to serve our community! 🎉

Rincon Valley Fire District mourns alongside the wildland fire community following the tragic loss of three firefighters while responding to the Knowles and Gore Fires in Colorado.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and fellow crew members of the fallen and wish a full recovery to the injured firefighters.

From all of us at RVFD, we stand with our brothers and sisters in the fire service during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

The U.S. Forest Service joins family members, friends, colleagues and the entire wildland fire community in mourning the loss of three wildland firefighters who died Saturday, June 27, as part of an interagency response to the Knowles and Gore fires along the Colorado-Utah border. Two additional firefighters sustained injuries and are in our thoughts as they receive medical care.

We extend our unwavering support to the families of the fallen, the injured firefighters, and their fellow crew members during this difficult time.

We stand with the U.S. Wildland Fire Service and our interagency partners in honoring the dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice of these firefighters. Their commitment to protecting the public, communities, and natural resources exemplifies the highest ideals of public service.

An interagency review and investigation of the incident is ongoing. Additional details will be shared as they are able to be released.
