The Valatie Ecumenical Food Pantry continues to experience a high demand for assistance and believes this trend will continue as we move through 2026. That is why on behalf of the food pantry we are reaching out to ask for your help in providing non-perishable food items to ensure that no family in our area goes hungry.
Most-needed items include:

Canned vegetables and fruits
•
Peanut butter and jelly
•
Dry Cereals & Granola Bars
•
Pasta, sauce, rice, and cereal
•
Canned soups and stews
•
Personal-Hygiene products
How to donate:
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, you can drop off your donations at the Jack Shainman Gallery, “The School”, located at 25 Broad St, in the Village of Kinderhook. Our volunteers will be there to collect your donations. If you prefer, monetary contributions are also welcome. Checks may be made payable to the Valatie Ecumenical Food Pantry.
Every can, box, or bag you give makes a real difference. Together, we can ensure that our neighbors have the food they need during these challenging times.

**ATTENTION - POLICY CHANGE**
The Yard Waste Drop-Off site for the Town of Kinderhook will be at the Highway Garage this year. NO COMPOST TICKET NEEDED.
Must be a Town resident.
Drop-Off beginning April 13th.
