ALERT: PHONE OUTAGE at All VCS Schools and District Office

Valdez City Schools is currently experiencing a phone outage affecting all schools and the district office.

Until phone service is restored, please email school personnel directly or visit the appropriate school or district office in person.

🚧 IN-TOWN BUS ROUTE ADJUSTMENTS 🚧

Due to ongoing construction, school buses cannot make individual household stops along Foraker, Eklutna, Dadina, Chena, Bremner, and Alatna streets.

Students living on these roads should meet the bus on the new temporary park strip road at the corresponding starred location shown on the map for both pickup and drop-off. These temporary stops will remain in place until buses can safely resume normal access to individual homes on affected streets.

Construction conditions may change, so please watch for additional updates.

Valdez City Schools is relaunching its Gifted and Talented program!

Join us Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gilson Middle School Commons to learn about the program, the application and qualification process, and ways to support enrichment opportunities for all students.

The meeting is open to everyone, for parents and students in all grade levels.
