Hello Valdezians!

I hope this message finds you well. As part of our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community, Providence Valdez Medical Center conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment once every three years.

This is a community-wide effort to understand and address the most significant health issues facing our community. This brief and anonymous survey asks community members about their health concerns, experiences, and access to health care. Your opinions are extremely valuable in this effort to improve health and health services in Valdez.

Information from this survey is used by organizations across the community to inform health services programming, community action, and to attract funding to Valdez to help address community need.

Our ASK: Please take the survey and share this message and the attached information with your family, faith communities, and friends. Survey respondents may enter a raffle to win cash prizes of $50, $100, $200, and $300!

We follow the USDA guidelines for Food Safety when processing and storing food. All donated and purchased items are processed by our wonderful volunteers and checked for safety concerns. Many items are safe to eat after the date on packaging and we consistently follow the federal guidelines for distribution. For more information about Food Safety visit the USDA website.
